Boka Records have been running
since 2005, focusing on
pushing the sounds of the
dubstep and has been
responsible for releasing
music by notable artists such
as Distance, The Others,
Emalkay and the most recent
success story 16bit.
When the label started it was
a very marginal scene, the
sound was very fresh and
exciting, it didn’t take long
before people caught ahold of
it. Right now it’s a global
phenomena and bigger and
bigger artists seem to be
taking influence from the sound.

We’re focused on releasing
good music regardless of
genre, dubstep has become and
is becoming more of a loose
term for bass-heavy music and
the BOKA tank will continue to
shiftily roam the dark streets
