A) Cause4Concern – Dead Planet – Veteran tech dnb masters Cause4Concern touch down on Rise Audio for the first time, with the highly anticipated dub plate dance floor smasher ‘Dead Panet’. With their unique cutting edge sound and style, Cause4Concern create a drifting eerie ambiance, combined with hypnotic stabs steadily rising and falling throughout the intro. As the tension and anticipation grows, Cause4Concern release one of their classic breaks engaging the listener with it’s lively rolling groove. With the huge kick and snare pounding away, the pressure builds further until all elements of the track are racing towards the drop, and after a short drum fill ‘Dead Planet’ drops into full swing with devastating effect. Atmospheric strings and a beautifully haunting ethnic vocal merge throughout the intro until The Sect lay down some serious slabs of deep sub bass. The pounding bass doesn’t let up once ‘Entheogen’ drops either, the track jumps to attention driven by a huge deep evolving bassine alongside hard and heavy marching drums. An ultra hard kick drum and razor sharp snare keep the groove locked down as The Sect progress the track introducing new sounds and quirky edits.
